稀土掺杂的上转换纳米材料(UCNPs)因其优异的光学性质而备受关注.在组织穿透能力强的近红外(NIR)光激发下,上转换纳米材料能够发射高能量的可见光.长久以来,其应用均集中在检测、成像及光动力学治疗方面.近年来利用上转换纳米材料对于细胞行为进行调控的研究得到了越来越广泛的关注.采用上转换纳米材料调控细胞的行为可以克服传统可见光调控难以治疗深层组织的缺点.主要从上转换纳米材料调控细胞黏附、分化及活性三方面介绍其在调控细胞行为领域的最新研究进展.

Rare earth upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) have received much attention due to their excellent optical characteristics,which can absorb NIR light and convert it into high-energy photons in the UV,visible,and NIR regions.For a long time,UCNPs application has been focused on the detection,imaging and photodynamic therapy.Recently,much attention has been paid to the study of the regulation of cell behaviors by using the UCNPs.Controlling cell behavior by UCNPs can overcomes the shortcomings of traditional visible light responded materials which are difficult to treat under deep tissue.This review concentrates on the recent progress in the regulation of cell behavior in adhesion,differentiation and activity by UCNPs.
