四平山岩金矿床为典型的热泉型金矿床，具有重要经济价值和理论研究意义。在两次找矿成果的研究基础上，对热液通道、矿床成矿规律、找矿远景等方面，进行了深层次的分析探讨。研究认为，该区金矿化主要与酸性火山岩有关，深部火山通道和张性断裂及构造交汇处的热泉通道是寻找热泉型金矿床的重要远景区。
Sipingshan gold deposit is a typical hot spring gold deposit ,of great theoretical significance and poten-tial economic value .Based on the study on the results of two prospecting activities ,paper carried out further research of thermal fluid passage ,metallogenic regularity and prospecting potentials .And according to the research , it is inferred that the gold mineralization is related to acid volcanic rocks ,and that the thermal spring at the joint of the deep volcan-ic conduit and the extension fracture and structure is the promising area for thermal spring type gold deposit prospec -ting.
