The paper takes the modification and expansion project of Zaozigou Gold Mine as the engineering back-ground,elucidates the purpose and function of the ramp opening.The principle of selection of the ramp location,the design of transportation route of ramps and the construction technology are introduced in detail.The practice shows a good construction result with monthly footage of 150 m.
