The construction of green mines is indispensible to sustainable development of mining industry,and is necessary to achieve scientific outlook of development and social harmony.The paper states the definition of green mines and the importance of their construction,and based on the aspects like science and technology innovations,com-prehensive utilization and saving of resources, energy saving and effluent reduction, treatment of geological disasters and environmental protection, land reclamation, harmonious community and enterprise culture, it discusses the ad-vancement of construction and practice of the green mines in Sanxin company.
