The“five rates” index is an important operational index in mining enterprises.The paper based on the calculation and analysis of the“five rates” index demonstrates the influence of the index on the cost-effective and effi-ciency-improving strategy.With each rate optimized by 1 %, a 2 200 000 t/a capacity non-ferrous mine can profit 0.228 billion yuan more per year,which means a lot considering market price of metals is low.
