The paper carried out experimental research on the effect of different combined oxidation and iron salts coagulation processes treating arsenic contained in underground mine water .If the pH of primary water is 7.67,and the mass concentration of arsenic in it is 1 mg/L,the arsenic removal rate will be 62%when the mass ratio of Fe and As is 6:1 and the reaction time is 30 min;if the iron salts coagulation is combined with aeration oxidation in the treat-ment,the arsenic removal rate will be 69%when the mass ratio of Fe and As is 6:1,the reaction time is 30 min and the aeration rate is 0.05 m3/h;if the iron salts coagulation is combined with hydrogen peroxide in the treatment ,the arsenic removal rate will be 99 %when the mass ratio of Fe and As is 6:1,the reaction time is 5 min and the dosage of hydrogen peroxide is 0.01 mL/L.The results show that the introduction of oxidation system contributes to the treat-ment of arsenic-containing underground mine water .The combined treatment process of Fenton oxidation system and i-ron salts coagulation lowers iron salts consumption ,improves arsenic removal rate and shortens reaction time .
