With its outstanding advantages of high purity,high hardness and light weight,the electroformed hard pure gold jewelry has been favored by the market.However,due to its short development history,the product as well as the technique is insufficiently understood by jewelry designers,producers and consumers.In this paper,the characteristics of traditional pure gold jewelry and electroformed hard pure gold jewelry are compared.Based on the technical requirements of production,the design features and precautions of the electroformed hard pure gold jewelry were analyzed and discussed from five aspects,including highlighting the three-dimensional sense,appropriate surface decoration process,adaptability for gem setting,avoiding sharp edges and angles,and avoiding the structures vulnerable to de formation.Meanwhile,the design theme options and development trends of the electroformed hard pure gold jewelry are analyzed according to market demands.
