北沟金矿床位于凤太矿田东部，地处八方山—八卦庙—双王铅锌、金多金属矿带东段。北沟金矿床分北沟矿带与东沟矿带，矿床类型为构造蚀变岩型与石英脉型。在系统总结北沟金矿床地质特征的基础上，进一步分析了矿区找矿潜力。综合分析认为，矿体存在“上脉下层”的二元结构模式，目前矿区及外围工作程度低，通过进一步工作开展，北沟金矿床有望成为中—大型金矿床的远景规模。
Beigou Gold Deposit is located in the east of Fengtai Ore Field and the eastern part of Bafangshan-Baguamiao-Shuangwang lead,zinc and gold polymetallic ore belt.Beigou Gold Deposit is divided into Beigou ore belt and Donggou ore belt and their deposits belong to tectonic altered rock type and quartz vein type.Based on systematic summary of geological characteristics of the deposit,the paper further analyzes the prospecting potentials in the area. Comprehensive analysis thinks that the ore body is characterized by a dual structure of"upper vein and lower layer". Although only preliminary work has been carried in the ore and peripheral areas,it is possible that Beigou Gold Depos-it should turn out a medium-large scale gold deposit with further exploration.
