连铸过程中铸坯内部易产生中心偏析、中心疏松和缩孔等缺陷,这会对后续轧制及成品产生不利影响。目前凝固末端轻压下技术被认为是改善连铸坯内部质量的一种最有效方法。综述了轻压下技术的基本原理与主要控制参数,以及该技术的研究与应用现状。最后,介绍了凝固末端大压下技术的应用。指出应根据缺陷产生机理的不同合理控制压下参数:要解决中心偏析,应于钢液仅在枝晶间可流动时进行压下;而要提高铸坯致密性,可在凝固终点处进行大压下。
Center segregation,center porosity and center pipes usually occur in continuous casting,and these defects have negative effects on subsequent rolling and finished products.Soft reduction at the final solidification is considered the most effective method to improve the internal quality of continuous casting products.The mechanism of soft reduction technology and the controlling parameters,as well as the research and application status are summarized in this paper.Finally,heavy reduction technology at the end of solidification in continuous casting is introduced.Cen-ter segregation is caused by the flowing of unsolidified steel in the interdendritic section,which is optimum reduction location to eliminate or alleviate center segregation.However,center pipe usually formed near the end of solidifica-tion.In order to improve the internal density of continuous casting product,heavy reduction at the end of solidification can be adopt.
