As a new reinforcing material, carbon fiber has excellent physical and chemical properties and is widely used in many areas. The application of carbon fiber composite laminates is restricted in structural composites because of the lower compressive strength.it is important to improve compressive performance. The influencing factors of compressive strength in carbon fiber composite laminates are reviewed. The importance of fiber waviness, void content, fiber volume content, resin property to carbon fiber composite laminates and relationship of each other are discussed, providing some guides for improving the compressive strength of the carbon fiber composite laminates.
