某汽车用铅酸蓄电池的汇流条发生失效现象,在连接电池正极的部位出现暗黄色物质,而且在圆孔周围有融化、变形的现象.通过爬酸试验模拟汇流条失效过程;利用激光共聚焦显微镜观察截面形貌;利用扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱(EDS)、X射线衍射(XRD)和傅里叶红外光谱(FT-IR)等方法观察分析了黄色物质.结果表明:黄色物质主要为PbO和PbSO4,汇流条正极融化、变形现象是由充放电过程产生的热量造成的.为预防安全隐患,充电电流不能过大,充电时间不能过长.
The bus-bar of a lead-acid battery used for an automobile exhibited failure phenomenon.Some dark yellow products appeared in the area connected to the battery positive electrode,and melting and deformation phenomena were found around the bolt hole.Climbing acid experiments were used to simulate the bus-bar failure process.The cross-sectional morphology was observed using laser scanning confocal microscope.Scanning electron microscopy (SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were used to observe and analyze the yellow products.The results show that the yellow products mainly consisted of PbO and PbSO4,and melting and deformation phenomena of positive electrode were caused by the heat from charging and discharging process.To prevent potential safety hazard,the charge current should not be too large,charging time should not be too long.
