TMCP (Thermal Mechanical Control Processing) technology is one of the greatest achievements of steel industry in the 20th century.TMCP can control the structure type and phase change process of high temperature austenite in steel through controlling rolling temperature and rate,beginning temperature and ending temperature of cooling after rolling to control the type,morphology and distribution of the microstructure of steel and improve the structure and mechanical properties.The development course,research progress and structure analysis of low carbon-alloying and high strength steel based on TMCP were introduced and the future development of this steel under TMCP technology was presented.
