固态体积式真三维立体显示器显示体是由多层大尺寸液晶光阀组成,高速投影光学引擎将对应深度的图片投射到对应深度的液晶光阀上成像,经过人眼合成即可实现立体显示,因此驱动显示体使其与高速投影光学引擎相匹配是显示立体图像的重要保证.介绍了单层液晶光阀驱动电路,该电路具有驱动能力强,响应速度快,可实现双极性驱动的特点.在解决多个上述电路并联引起振荡叠加的基础上设计了显示体驱动电路和驱动控制电路.在分析60 Hz 刷新频率下显示体闪烁的原因之后,基于传统驱动方式提出了一种新的驱动方式,解决闪烁现象.可以实现真三维立体无闪烁显示,对于单层48 cm(19 in)液晶光阀,上升时间和下降时间之和为0.5 ms,实现了快速驱动.满足了固态体积式真三维显示体驱动设计要求,为大尺寸液晶光阀驱动提供了一种方法.

The display-body used in Solid Volumetric True 3D Display contains 20 pieces of Liquid Crystal Light Valve(LCLV).The high-speed video projector projects a sequence of pictures into dif-ferent pieces of liquid crystal light valve so that people can see a true 3D image.It’s necessary to syn-chronize the display body with the high-speed video projector.First,a circuit driver for large-size liq-uid crystal light valve is needed.The driver should have the strong capability of fast response and can realize bipolar drive.After solving the problem caused by the oscillation happened on the gate of MOSFET,the circuit driver for the display-body is designed.Finally,after analyzing the reasons of flicker happened when the body refresh rate is 60 Hz,a new method based on current hardware is given to solve the problem of flicker.Experiments show that the driver can realize the true 3D display without flicker.To one piece of liquid crystal light valve 48 cm(1 9 in),the sum of rising time and fall-ing time is 0.5 ms when the drive voltage is 100 V.The circuit driver can realize the function and pro-vides a method for driving the liquid crystal light valve in large size.
