时空?合控制式自由立体显示是一种新型的自由立体显示技术,具有全分辨率和低串扰率优点,消除了背光源刷新与屏幕图像刷新不同步所导致的时域串扰率升高,这是时空?合控制式自由立体显示的关键问题之一。本文介绍了时空式立体显示系统的原理和动态背光的工作方式,提出了扫描式和垂直式两种不同的背光源刷新方式,着重对比了两种背光源刷新方式对屏幕亮度和串扰率的影响。通过实验测量给出了时空式自由立体显示系统背光源刷新的最优化参数设置。在优化配置条件下,系统串扰率低至2.64%,证明动态背光同步技术可以有效降低系统的时域串扰率。
Auto-Stereoscopic with improved spatial and sequential hybrid control (SSHC)is a new type of auto-stereoscopic display technology which retains full resolution and low crosstalk ratio.It elimi-nates the temporal crosstalk caused by the non-synchronization between the screen and the backlight module,which is one of the key issues of auto-stereoscopic display with SSHC.The paper explains principles of auto-stereoscopic display with SSHC and dynamic backlight system.Two different re-freshing strategies of backlight module are introduced,which are the scanning type and the vertical type.Comparison on the influences on the luminance and crosstalk ratio of the display system for both strategies is mainly discussed.The optimal settings for backlight module are achieved through experi-mental results.Experimental results show that the crosstalk ratio of the display system can be sup-pressed as low as 2.64% with the optimal settings,which proves that the dynamic backlight control technique can effectively lowers temporal crosstalk.
