利用一种软化学合成方法--喷雾热解法,在玻璃基底上制备了钨酸镉(CdWO4)发光膜,研究了其结构、吸收光谱、光致发光及较低电压下的阴极射线发光特性.由吸收光谱估算出CdWO4膜的禁带宽度约为3.70 eV.当基底温度在350 ℃以上时,生成的CdWO4膜在紫外光及阴极射线激发下发出蓝绿光,其光谱为一宽蓝绿发光带.利用高斯函数进行拟合,发现此发光由3个发光带组成:一个峰值位于495 nm (2.51 eV) 的主发光带,另外两个分别位于444 nm (2.80 eV) 和545 nm (2.28 eV)的发光带.证实了峰值位于495 nm(2.51 eV)的主发光带和氧空位无关,是由阴离子络合物WO6-6的发光引起的.研究了退火温度对CdWO4膜发光特性的影响.随着退火温度的升高,发光亮度和效率增大.样品的亮度随外加电压的增加而增大,没有观察到亮度饱和现象.经600 ℃下退火的CdWO4膜,在电子束电压为5 kV,电流密度为57 μA/cm2的条件下,其阴极射线发光亮度可达420 cd/m2,效率达1.9 lm/W.研究结果表明,CdWO4发光膜有可能用在以玻璃为基底的平板显示器件中.
