混浊介质中的目标识别是一项很有实用价值的研究课题.本文中作者提出利用混浊介质中目标物体后向散射光米勒矩阵的方法来进行目标识别的方法.在去离子水中加入0.1μm的聚苯乙烯乳胶颗粒组成理想的混浊介质,在各种浓度下分别测量混浊介质中有目标物体时的米勒矩阵与混浊介质没有目标物体时的米勒矩阵,将这两个矩阵进行比较,发现米勒矩阵的主对角线项在有目标物体和没有目标物体时有一定的差异,利用这一差异可以判断混浊介质中是否存在目标物体.作者对这种方法进行了实验室条件下的模拟,实验结果表明利用偏振技术进行目标识别比利用传统的强度识别方法有效,并且有一定的实用价值.
