大气相干长度是研究大气湍流强度、激光大气传输以及自适应光学的重要参量之一.整层或有限距离相干长度的测量大多是以恒星、高空气球中光目标等作为信标光源的.一般依靠轨道跟踪或手动跟踪,跟踪能力差,测量时操作不便.为此研制了一套信标自动跟踪测量系统,可以实现各种不同条件下大气相干长度的自动跟踪观测,从而大大提高了测量性能.
