借助于X射线衍射分析,发现钾-石墨层间化合物3阶与2阶相互转化时出现长程有序中间过渡相(2-4)阶,(2-4)阶是由一个单位的"2阶"和一个单位的"4阶"组成,其结构重复周期是3阶结构重复周期的两倍.在发现该中间过渡相的基础上提出了理想的由3阶化合物向2阶转化的结构模型.利用我们提出的模型推测3阶钾-石墨层间化合物向2阶转化过程中碳层堆积顺序的演变,从理论上推测出的2阶钾-石墨层间化合物碳层堆积顺序与实验测定的结果完全一致,并推测(2-4)阶的堆积顺序为a|ab|bcbc|ca|abab|bc|caca.
