活塞环性能的优劣直接影响到内燃机的整体性能,随着现代内燃机的发展,对活塞环提出了越来越高的要求.阐述了现代活塞环表面处理技术如PVD与CVD镀膜、热喷涂钼涂层、等离子喷涂陶瓷涂层的技术特点,并与电镀铬、表面氮化进行对比,对它们的优缺点进行了分析.展望了现代活塞环表面处理技术的发展趋势.
A review is given about the current status and development trend of the surface treatment technology for poi-son rings. It is pointed out that the overall performance of internal combustion engines is directly related to the performance of piston rings, and the requirement for the quality of piston rings are be-coming increasingly harsh along with the development of modern internal combustion engine. Moreover, the technical features of modern surface-modifying coatings for piston rings, such as phys-ical vapor deposition (PVD) coating, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) coating, thermally sprayed molybdenum coating, and plasma sprayed ceramic coating are emphatically elaborated. And their merits and drawbacks are analyzed by comparing with chro-mium plating or nitrided coating. Finally, prospects are suggested in relation to the development trend of modern surface treatment technology for piston rings.
