采用原位种子乳液聚合法合成了PS/MA-TiO2核壳结构复合纳米微球,并通过透射电镜(TEM)、红外(IR)、差热(DSC)、失重(TGA)和XPS等测试对其结构、性能和摩擦表面的组成进行了分析。在四球试验机上考察了其摩擦学行为,结果表明,PS/MA-TiO2核壳结构复合纳米微球用作润滑油添加剂有良好的抗磨性,并能显著提高基础油的失效负荷,推测其抗磨机理是微观的滚动和成膜。

PS/MA-TiO2 composite nanometer microspheres were prepared by in situ seed emulsion polymerization, and the structure characterization was identified by TEM, UV-Vis, FT-IR, DSC & TGA. The tribological behaviors of PS/MA-TiO2 nanometer microspheres as additives in paraffin oil were evaluated on a four-ball machine. The composition of boundary film was analyzed with XPS also. Experimental results indicate that the PS/MA-TiO2 composite microspheres have a good anti-wear performance and improve striking failure load. Micro-roll and filming were supposed to explain the lubrication mechanisms of composite microsphere.
