通过六流方坯连铸中间包水模实验,研究了不同控流装置对其流动特性的影响。采用笔者提出的多流中间包流动特性分析模型及各流流动特性一致性的分析方法进行了定量描述。结果表明,带横墙和不带横墙的“V”型挡墙均能明显改善各流流动特性的一致性,与不带横墙的“V”型挡墙组合挡坝的数量、高度均对流动特性有影响,在较优的“V”型挡墙与挡坝组合控流装置基础上加入抑湍器后控流效果更佳。通过实验研究,提出了优化方案。

The water model of a sixstrand billet tundish was built to study the effects of various flow control devices on melt flow, and the melt flow in the tundish was investigated by the analysis models to characterize the melt flow in multistrand tundishes as well as the approaches to quantifying the similarity among the strands proposed by the authors. The results show that “V” type baffle with transverse wall as well as “V” type baffle without transverse wall can improve the similarity among the six strands distinctly. And the amount and height of dams with “V” type baffle without transverse wall all affect the melt flow in tundish. The addition of turbulence inhibitor based on the “V” type baffle and dam with good characteristic of melt flow can improve the melt flow. An optimal proposal is presented.
