以Zr,B4C,Si粉为起始原料,利用放电等离子烧结(SPS)技术,在1450℃,30 MPa,保温3 min的条件下快速反应烧结制备得到相对致密度约为98.5%的ZrB2-SiC复合材料.制备得到的复合材料硬度约为17.2 GPa,断裂韧性约为4.3 MPa·m1/2.通过对SPS过程中不同阶段试样的分析,探讨了复合材料的形成过程.结果表明:当温度达到950℃时,通过X射线衍射(XRD)观察到中间相ZrxSiy的出现,此时主相为ZrB2;随着SPS过程的进行,反应不断发生,当温度约为1250℃时,反应基本结束.
