金刚石表面镀钛与否对Co基和Cu-Sn基胎体抗弯强度、 金刚石锯片切割性能的对比研究表明, 金刚石表面镀钛可提高金刚石工具的寿命及切割效率。 采用扫描电镜对抗弯强度试验样品断面和使用过的锯片刀头的观察分析, 确立了镀钛层与不同胎体的结合类型。
The effects of Ti-coated on diamond surface on transverse-rupture strength(TRS) of Co based and Cu-Sn based samples and the cutting performance of saw blades were investigated. The results show that the TRS increases when using Ti-coated diamond and that the tool lives of Co based and Cu-Sn based saw blade with Ti-coated diamond were 47.0% and 20.1% longer than that of those with uncoated diamond, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) photographs confirm that a metallurgical bonding layer exists when diamond is coated with titanium, which improves the bonding strength between diamond and matrix and impedes aggressive chemistry reaction between them.
