The concentration effecs of thiourea and it's derivatives on the corrosion behaviour of iron electrode in H(2)SO(4) solution are measured by polarization curves. The anodic and cathodic effective coefficients of these inhibitors in E(corr) are calculated. The frontier molecular orbital energy levels and the net charge of polar atoms of these inhibitors are calculated by EHMO method. The results show that, these structure coefficients are closely related to the corrosion effective coefficients.
