Zirconium alloys have a hexagonal close-packed crystal structure and prominent anisotropic characteristic.Besides,the strong texture is usually formed in sheet or tubular materials during the fabrication process,which will influence the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloys.This paper discussed various investigation methods,results and development of zirconium corrosion anisotropy.Besides,the effect of texture on corrosion resistance was analyzed.This provided some new insight and reference on zirconium corrosion behavior and mechanism.
