A two-dimensional simulation for the morphology of martensitic transformation based on a theoretical dislocation model was performed. The growth morphology of the martensite relates to many factors, such as the supercooling, the interface energy, the shear strain, the normal strain and the hydrostatic pressure. In the present study, the simulation results were compared with the different types of martensitic morphology in Fe-Ni-C alloys.
