本文根据表面热力学理论和对比态原理,导出了一个金属熔体表 面张力的计算公式,通过对五种碱金属熔体高温(400~1500 K)下表面张力数据计 算检验,本公式计算精度较高,可供工程计算使用。本方法的优 点是使用简便,在计算中只需少数已知参数,如Pc、Tc、Zc即可
On the basis of the theory of surfacethermodynamics and the theorem of corresponding states a general equation of surface tensions is derived by using thermodynamic analytical method. This is a semitheoretical equation with two temperatureindependent parameters, relating surface tensions of liquids with temperature. ln this paper the surface tension data of five pure melting alkali metals are correlated by the above correlation, and then calculated in the temperature range from 400 to 1500 K. The obtained results are good agreement with experimental data. The proposed estimating method may be used for engineering calculations. The advantage of this method is simple and convenient in use, it requires only a few known parameters, as critical pressure (pc), temperature (Tc) and compressibility factor (Zc) for calculations
