对连铸机扇形段和框架腐蚀发生的原因进行了分析. 结果表明，在生产现场的特殊环境条件下，腐蚀是各种因素综合作用下缝隙腐蚀加速发展的 结果，冷却水中Cl离子浓度过高是腐蚀加速发展的重要原因, 改善表面保护涂层质量是防治 腐蚀的关键.
The failure of carbon steel frame of a conticaster i n a steel work was investigated.Results showed that in the special environment o f the conticaster,the cause of the unexpected failure should be the rapid develo pment of the crevice corrosion which is badly influenced by the high concentrati on of Cl-.The quality of the protective coating for the frame should be improv ed to prevent the failure.
