采用氧指数、锥形量热仪等手段,研究了羟基硅油(HSO)在乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯(EVA)/氢氧化铝(ATH)体系中的协效阻燃作用。氧指数结果表明,随着HSO添加量的增加,复合材料的氧指数略有所下降,样品EVA1~EVA5的氧指数从31下降至27.5。锥形量热仪结果表明,随着HSO添加量的增加,复合材料的热释放速率峰值呈明显的降低趋势,同时,质量损失速率、总热释放、有效燃烧热均随HSO添加量的增加而明显降低,表明添加HSO有助于降低材料的可燃性。锥形量热仪测试后的炭渣照片表明,HSO能促进EVA/ATH复合材料成炭。
The synergistic flame retardant effect between aluminum hydroxide(ATH) and hydroxy silicone oil(HSO) in ethylene-vinyl acetate(EVA)/ATH/HSO system was studied using limiting oxygen index(LOI) and cone calorimeter test(CCT).The LOI results show that the introducing of HSO slightly decreases the LOI of EVA/ATH system,the LOI value of the sample EVA1~EVA5 decreases to 31 from 27.5.The cone calorimeter test(CCT) shows that the heat release rates decrease as the addition of HSO increases in EVA/ATH system.At the same time,mass loss rate,total heat release,effective heat of combustion all decrease clearly as the addition of HSO increases.The digital photos of residues indicate that EVA/ATH/HSO composites on burning can form a coherent and dense char,and have excellent flame retardation.
