脉冲磁场能够有效细化金属凝固晶粒,正逐渐走向工业化应用阶段.针对高品质电工钢、铁素体不锈钢、高速钢以及镍基高温合金等四大类合金容易存在偏析、疏松等凝固问题,提出施加低频脉冲磁场于连铸工业生产过程.计算了低频脉冲磁场施加于连铸足辊段、二冷段和凝固末端,所需临界磁感应强度值分别为0.0845 T、0.122 T和0.182 T.随着低频脉冲磁场施加位置坯壳厚度增加,临界磁感应强度增加,同时调整占空比,可降低临界磁感应强度.
