对皮尔巴拉粉进行了烧结基础特性、烧结杯实验室试验研究，结果表明：使用20％PBF对烧结指标无负面影响，使用比例超过30％后，烧结指标明显恶化，需要增加混合料水分来改善烧结指标。由于实验室研究结果可靠，使得PBF在首钢烧结生产应用比较顺利，技术指标基本无影响。
Sintering fundamental characteristics and sinter pot test of Pilbara Blend iron ore has been discussed. The results show that 20% of PBF has no adverse effect on sinter production .Moisture content must be increased to improve sinter production index if PBF ratio in sinter mix is more than 30%. The reliable laboratory and trial test results contribute the smooth transition of PBF in shougang’s sinter plant. And there is almost no influence on technical index.
