采用低频扭摆仪研究了铁磁性形状记忆合金Ni53Ga27Fe20和Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金的阻尼性能与应变振幅、频率及温度的关系,研究了钴元素对镍-镓-铁形状记忆合金阻尼性能的影响.结果表明:室温下Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金的显微组织为三种形态的马氏体,而Ni53Ga27Fe20合金为单一形态马氏体;前者的马氏体相变与逆相变的起始温度为59.2℃与58.7℃,结束温度为35.4℃与72.2℃;后者的起始温度为69.3℃与93.6℃,结束温度为60.2℃与102.6℃;Ni53Ga27Fe20合金在室温下为滞弹性阻尼;Ni53Ga27Fe15Co5合金室温下当应变振幅小于5.0×10-5时为滞弹性阻尼,当应变振幅大于5.0×10-5时为静滞后型阻尼;Ni53Ga27Fe15CO5合金的热弹性马氏体相变温度较Ni53Ga27Fe20合金的降低,在相变温度范围内即具有高阻尼特性,最大阻尼值为0.072.
