以工业级的乙烯基三甲氧基硅烷为原料,通过硅烷水解法合成出低成本的八乙烯基笼形倍半硅氧烷(OVPOSS),井采用种子乳液聚合法成功地制备了OVPOSS/聚苯乙烯(PS)复合材料.采用傅立叶转变红外光谱(FT-IR)、核磁共振(1H-NMR)和X射线衍射(XRD)等对OVPOSS和OVPOSS/PS复合材料的化学组成和结构进行了表征.透射电镜(TEM)观察到OVPOSS/PS复合粒子微球粒径约为300 mn,而且POSS分子在聚苯乙烯基体中分散性较好.此外,差示扫描量热仪(DSC)、热失重分析(TGA)测试结果表明,由于POSS的引入,形成的交联网络结构的OVPSS/PA复合材料的初始分解温度比纯PS的提高了40℃、玻璃化转变温度提高14℃.
