选择两种具有强电离基团的烯类单体,2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸钠(SAMPS)和(3-甲基丙烯酰胺基)丙基三甲基氯化铵(MTAC)为共聚单体,并以亚甲基双丙烯酰胺为交联剂合成了两性离子型吸水凝胶.实验发现,凝胶的吸水率随MTAC含量升高而降低.在多数情况下,凝胶在电解质溶液中的溶胀度随溶液中电解质浓度提高而下降.只是当SAMPS和MTAC摩尔含量相同时,凝胶才表现出所谓的抗电解质溶胀行为,即随着溶液中电解质浓度提高,凝胶的溶胀度反而升高.此外,凝胶溶胀度还与电解质溶液中的阳离子种类有关.
