Iron is the most consumed metal in the world. Iron ore is the main raw material for producing iron and steel. In recent years the demand for iron ore in China is increasing at a fast speed as steel production is increasing by a big margin. Imbalance between supply and demand is becoming more and more acute. Making full use of iron ore resources and steady supplying with abundant highquality iron ore is the guarantee of continuous development of steel industry in China.
