  采用搅拌摩擦焊方法对7050铝合金进行焊接试验。结果表明:当旋转速度为800 r/min、焊接速度为200 mm/min,焊接接头性能最佳,其抗拉强度为455.87 MPa,达到母材强度的88.86%,伸长率为7.34%;接头中心部位是一区域宽约7 mm的高硬度区,其显微硬度为155HV左右,两侧是宽约为4 mm的低硬度区。焊缝截面形貌整体呈现倒圆锥形,包括4个清晰的区域。焊核区形成了粒度细小、形状饱满、晶界明显的等轴再结晶组织,晶粒平均直径在5μm左右:拉伸断口发生在焊缝后退侧的热影响区,为单一韧窝状,韧窝尺寸在5~10μm。

Friction stir welding experiment of 7050 aluminum plate was conducted. The experiment results show that when the rotating speed is 800 r/min and the welding speed is 200 mm/min,the tensile strength of weded joint is 455.87 MPa,achieving 88.86% of parent material strength,and elongation rate is 7.34%. The hardness of weld center is high with micro hardness about 155HV and its width about 7 mm,the width of low hardness zone is about 4 mm on both sides of the high hardness zone. Weld section morphology presents the inverted conical shape including four clear area. WNZ microstructure is equiaxed grain with small particle size,the average diameter is 5 μm or so. Tensile fracture occurs in the weld heat affected zone of the back side with single dimple shape,the size of it is about 5~10 μ m.
