通过缩合聚合反应使含有2个乙氧基的八苯基聚倍半硅氧烷(DOPO)与羟基封端的聚硅氧烷预聚物通过化学键合,得到POSS位于聚硅氧烷主链的POSS-聚硅氧烷嵌段共聚物,然后硫化得到POSS位于聚硅氧烷分子链的嵌段型POSS-硅橡胶.研究表明,通过化学共聚,POSS以纳米尺寸均匀分散于硅橡胶中并显著影响聚硅氧烷的分子运动,从而显著影响其粘弹性和力学性能.POSS的引入不仅提高了聚硅氧烷的零切黏度和模量,并使剪切变稀提前,而且使硅橡胶的玻璃化转变温度和储能模量均得到提高.值得注意的是,刚性POSS的引入可显著提高硅橡胶的热稳定性,POSS质量分数为5%时,硅橡胶的初始分解温度提高了73℃,最大分解温度提高了127℃,残余率从0.18%提高到18.26%.
