冶金过程复杂而不稳定,很多过程都是属于"黑匣子"。传统的研究方法周期长、耗费大且往往无法达到理想目标,而数值模拟弥补了传统冶金研究的不足,CFD商业软件的出现更使数值模拟得到前所未有的发展机遇。介绍了常用的CFD商用软件,并讨论了CFD数值模拟技术在有色冶金、炼钢等冶金过程中的具体应用,指出CFD数值模拟技术在冶金工业中具有广阔的应用前景。
Many of the metallurgical process were like "black box" due to their complexity and unsteadiness.Some common problems,such as long period,expensive and unsatisfactory result,still existed in traditional research methods.Numerical simulation can compensate for limitations of the traditional metallurgy study and the emergence of commercial CFD software made unprecedented opportunities for the development of numerical simulation.Several common commercial CFD software were simply introduced,and application of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) numerical simulation technology used in such metallurgical process as nonferrous metallurgy and steelmaking process was also reviewed.It was presented that CFD numerical simulation technology had a broad prospect of application in metallurgical process.
