Diffusion Bonding of Tungsten to Copper and Its Alloy with Ti Foil and Ti/Ni/Ti Multiple Interlayers

Ti foil and Ti/Ni/Ti multiple interlayers were selected for the bonding of tungsten to copper and CuCrZr alloy. The effects of processing conditions on the microstructures and shear strength of the joints were investigated. When Ti foil is used for bonding of tungsten to pure copper but not transformed into liquid solution during the holding time, the strength of the joints is relatively low because of the multiple compound layers with brittleness formed in the bonding zone. The strength of the joints increases significantly if the Ti foil is transformed into liquid solution and is mostly extruded out of the bonding zone. The same phenomena are found in the case when Ti/Ni/Ti multi-interlayers are used for bonding tungsten to CuCrZr alloy.

Strengthening of Ti2AlC by substituting Ti with V

Ti2AlC is strengthened by substituting Ti with V to form (Ti,V)(2)AlC solid solutions. The Vickers hardness, flexural strength, shear strength and compressive strength are enhanced by 29%, 36% and 45% for (Ti-0.8,V-0.2)(2)AlC solid solution. respectively. Nb/Ti扩散研究

研究了Nb/Ti扩散的特性和机理以及经过相同时间、不同温度时效热处理的Nb/Ti扩散偶样品中NbTi合金层的厚度、保温结束后淬火与炉冷的扩散偶样品中NbTi合金层微观结构的区别,讨论了它们对NbTi超导体微观结构和性能的影响.研究表明通过选择合适的扩散制度能获得理想的微观结构和制备出高性能的NbTi超导线材.

利用电弧离子镀技术在不锈钢基体上沉积了Ti-Al-N涂层, 研究了沉积工艺参数对沉积态涂层的成分及相组成的影响, 以及在不同退火处理条件下各涂层组织的变化. XRD结果表明, 通过改变沉积工艺参数可以控制沉积态涂层的成分, 使涂层经退火后生成Ti2AlN相. 适当成分的沉积态涂层退火生成Ti2AlN相所需的最低退火温度为650℃, 其它沉积态涂层在700℃或更高温度下退火才能生成Ti2AlN相; 退火过程中可能发生的化学反应为: AlTi3N+5Al→TiN+2Al3Ti和AlTi3N+3Al→Ti2AlN+Al3Ti. 此外, 延长退火时间可使相同工艺下的沉积涂层生成的Ti2AlN相含量略有增加. 利用SEM对涂层进行了分析, 测量了涂层的摩擦系数.

In this Paper,interaction coefficients among Al,Ti and C in Al-Ti-C ternary system and actual free energy of Al_3Ti,TiC and Al_4C_3,were calcutated via ternary alloy thermodynamic theory.The rsults show that,at low temperatures,Al_3Ti forms through the reaction of aluminium with titanium,and at high temperatures,the TiC forms hy the reaction of carbon with Al_3Ti.The reaction mechanism was verified by the experimental results.

Ti和Nb-Ti微合金化高强钢中Ti的析出行为

采用0.07 wt%Ti和0.015 wt%Nb-0.07 wt%Ti微合金化的成分体系,通过控轧控冷和控轧控冷+回火工艺制备了厚度为30 mm的钢板.钢板在TMCP状态的形貌为贝氏体板条和沿贝氏体板条分布的马奥组元和析出物构成.回火后马奥组元分解,贝氏体板条界面弱化,在贝氏体板条中形成了大量细小的Ti的析出物.钢板中的析出物主要包括:粗大的TiN析出、TiC、Ti4C2S2析出和Nb-Ti的复合析出等.粗大方形TiN在钢中的Al2O3、MgO或Ti2O3的夹杂上形核长大,边长为5 μm左右.在0.07 wt%Ti成分体系中,TMCP和TMCP+回火状态钢板中的析出物主要是100 nm以下的TiN、TiC和Ti4C2S2析出.在0.015wt%Nb-0.07 wt%Ti成分体系中,析出物主要是Ti和Nb的碳化物析出,尺寸300 nm以下.添加微量的Nb会导致0.07 wt%Ti钢板的强度和冲击功下降,其原因可能是由于Nb和Ti形成较大的复合析出物,降低了析出物对位错运动的抑制作用,导致钢板力学性能下降.

Microstructural Evolution of Infrared Brazed CP-Ti Using Ti-Cu-Ni Brazes

Microstructural evolution of infrared vacuum brazing CP-Ti using two Ti-based braze alloys, Ti-15Cu-15Ni and Ti-15Cu-25Ni, have been investigated. The infrared brazed joint consists of eutectic Ti2Cu/Ti2Ni intermetallic compounds and Ti-rich matrix. The eutectic Ti2Cu/Ti2Ni intermetallic compounds are disappeared from the joint after 1h annealed at 900oC. In contrast, the depletion rate of both Cu and Ni from the braze alloy into CP-Ti substrate at 750oC annealing is greatly decreased as compared with that annealed at 900oC. Blocky Ti2Cu/Ti2Ni phases are observed even if the specimen is annealed at 750oC for 15h. Because the Ni content of the Ti-15Cu-25Ni braze alloy is much higher than that of the Ti-15Cu-15Ni alloy, the amount of eutectic Ti2Cu/Ti2Ni phases in Ti-15Cu-25Ni brazed joint is more than that in Ti-15Ci-15Ni brazed joint. However, similar microstructural evolution can be obtained from the infrared brazed joint annealed at various temperatures and/or time periods for both filler metals.
