The process of “re-resourcing of converter slag” was put forward based on the analysis of the existing steel slag treatment process. The converter slag obtained from Jinan steel plant was studied. After grinding, the slag contained 33% of iron particles, 5484% of magnetic part (wTFe=20%), and 4184% of non-magnetic part, which could be used for making cement directly. At a temperature below 1000 ℃, the non-magnetic Fe2O3 in the slag could be efficiently reduced to magnetic iron by pure H2 and CO. The slag after precise reduction had high degree of dispersion and did not get sintered, which provided an optimum condition for the separation of iron and impurities. To separate the slag and enrich the iron after reduction, the laboratory-scale device of magnetic separation was designed and made. The process of slag re-resourcing, which included magnetic sorting, precise reduction, magnetic separation, and removal of free calcium oxide (f-CaO), was proposed to obtain iron-rich magnetic materials and cement adulterant materials. Through this process, 33 kg iron particles, 150 kg iron-rich material and 700 kg cement could be obtained in each ton slag. Besides, this process to recycle converter slag had a lower energy and material consumption and no pollutant emission.

The morphology of the dark and bright regions observed by transmission electron microscopy for the Zr(64.13)Cu(15.75)Ni(10.12)Al(10) bulk metallic glass strongly depends on the ion beam parameters used for ion milling. This indicates that the ion beam could introduce surface fluctuation to metallic glasses during ion milling.

The recrystallization texture in commercially pure Al is investigated after the samples are rolled differently and annealed.The samples with low rol- ling reductions could be generally recovered or recrystallized in situ and characterized by the re- tained G{110}<001>component.This recovery process decreases during annealing with the increase of reduction.The appearance of the B/R{359}. <132>and R{123}<634>components de- pending on the rolling reduction is investigated and the less developed Cube{100}<001>component in commercially pure ahninium is also discussed.

采用磁控溅射方法在Si(111)基片上沉积Cu-Zr/ZrN薄膜体系作为扩散阻挡层.通过比较Cu-Zr/ZrN薄膜体系和三元非晶(Mo,Ta,W)-Si-N的电阻率,同时比较Cu-Zr/ZrN薄膜体系和Ta,YaN的硬度,说明作为扩散阻挡层的材料的选取,应从整体性能上考虑,而不能仅仅考虑热稳定性等单一指标.

The error of Equation (15b) in my article [Z.D. Zhang, Phil. Mag. 87 (2007) p.5309] in the application of the Jordan-Wigner transformation does not affect the validity of the putative exact solution, since the solution is not derived directly from that equation. Other objections of Perk's comment [J.H.H. Perk, Phil. Mag. 89 (2009) p.761] are the same as those in Wu et al.'s comments [F.Y. Wu et al., Phil. Mag. 88 (2008) p.3093; p.3103], which do not stand on solid ground and which I have sought to refute in my previous response [Z.D. Zhang, Phil. Mag. 88 (2008) p.3097]. The conjectured solution can be utilized to understand critical phenomena in various systems, whereas the conjectures are open to rigorous proof.

For both sintered and nanocomposite NdFeB magnets, deltaM(H) of the Henkel plot increases from zero, and reaches a peak, then decreases and changes to the negative values with increasing applied field. This shows that the intergrain interaction changes from the exchange-coup ling type into the magnetostatic interaction type. The magnetic field corresponding to the peak of deltaM(H) is slightly smaller than the coercivity of magnet. The peak of deltaM(H) for aligned sintered magnet is greater than that for misaligned magnet. deltaM(H) peak of the nanocomposite NdFeB magnets increases with decreasing grain sizes. It indicates that the effect of alignment field on the properties of magnet is similar to that of exchange-coupling interaction.
