材料科学技术(英文)

The effects of solution (quench) temperature on the properties of SiCw/Al composite have been investigated using tensile tests. The experiments indicate that the solution temperature of the composite fabricated by P/M technique can be raised to 560℃. The tensile strength of the composite is obviously dependent on solution (quench) temperature and the composite solutionized at 540℃ exhibits a maximum of tensile strength and elongation-to-failure. These results can be accounted for by the variation of the dislocation density in the composite.

Computer Simulating Calculation on the Microstructure Evolutions during Hot Strip Rolling of C-Mn Steels

Zhenyu LIU , Guodong WANG and Qiaing ZHANG(Northeastern University , Shenyang , 110006 , China)

材料科学技术(英文)

The program to predict the microstructure evolutions during hot strip rolling of C-M n steels has been developed in this paper, BV using this program, the microstructure changes with the processing parameters were analysed in detail. showing not only a good agreement of prediction with the measured values, but also entirely possibility to optimize hot strip rolling precess by computer simulation

Xiangxin XUE , Yinchang CHE and Hegui DU(Department of Metallurgy , Northeastern University , Shenyang , 110006 , China)

材料科学技术(英文)

Activitibs of Si in binary Cu-Si and ternary Cu-Ti-Si melts were measured at 1 550℃ by using a method of chemical equilIbrium between gas and liquid. The activity interaction coefficients of Si in the melts have been determined from the experimental data (lny = -5.69. s = 6.69. P2: = -26.22. E; =-43.96) and activity interaction coefficients of Ti in binary Cu-Ti melt at 1550℃ has been estimated from Sommer's data based on the regular solution model (lny =-1 .10. : = 2.95.p:=-2.10).
