定向共晶组织的熔化行为

应用定向凝固/重熔技术研究了Al-Cu,Al-Ni和Al-Si合金定向生长共晶组织的熔化行为实验结果表明:共晶组织的熔化过程与其凝固生长过程之间不存在完全的互逆性无论是规则片状或棒状共晶组织,或是不规则片状共晶组织,其熔化过程都是共晶组织的两相首先在熔化界面上同时分解,形成各自的分散相,然后这些成分不同的分散相经过进一步溶解混合才形成成分均匀的单一液相

Effect of Si on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of the Al-4.5%Cu Alloy

The effect of Si on the microstructure and mechanical properties of binary Al-4.5%Cu alloy has been investigated. The results show that the addition of Si does not have any effect on alloy strength; however, it decreases the ductility of the as-cast Al-4.5%Cu alloy. It is obvious that after T4 heat treatment, the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-4.5%Cu-Si alloys are improved, especially for the alloy with an Si addition of 2%.

A new technique of centrifugal casting under electromagnetic field was firstly proposed and investigated.Taking a heat resisting alloy steel 25Cr20Ni and an Al-Cu alloy as examples,products,though their length,diameter and wall thickness are varied,re- vealed so superior macrostructures that the mechanical properties are much improved in comparison with conventional centrifugal casting.

Properties of Dispersion Casting of Y2O3 Particles in Hypo, Hyper and Eutectic Binary Al-Cu Alloys

In the present work, the dispersion casting of Y2O3 particles in aluminum-copper alloy was investigated in terms of microstructural changes with respect to Cu contents of 20 (hypo), 33 (eutectic) and 40 (hyper) wt pct by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). For the fabrication of Al-Cu alloy dispersed Y2O3 ceramic particles, stir casting method was employed. In case of Al-20 wt pct Cu alloy (hypoeutectic), SEM images revealed that primary Al was grown up in the beginning. After that, eutectic phase with well dispersed ceramic particles was formed. In case of eutectic composition, Y2O3 particles were uniformly dispersed in the matrix. When the Cu is added into Al up to 40 wt pct (hypereutectic), primary θ phase was grown up without any Y2O3 ceramic particles in the early stage of solidification. Thereafter, eutectic phase was formed with well dispersed ceramic particles. It can be concluded that Y2O3 ceramic particles is mostly dispersed in case of eutectic composition in Al-Cu alloy.

Al-Cu合金GP区形成过程的价电子结构演变

基于EET理论和Gerold的Al-Cu合金GP区终态原子结构模型,建立GP区价电子结构计算模型, 研究GP区价电子结构的演变过程,提出形成过程中GP区点阵常数的计算方法,计算GP区的价电子结构,分析了Cu含量对其价电子结构的影响.结果表明,Al-Cu合金时效过程中GP区是渐进形成的.在形成初期,Spinodal分解机制占主导作用;在形成后期,正常的形核-长大机制占主导作用.随着Cu原子的富集,GP区最强共价A键的共价电子对数nA逐渐增加,B、C、D键的共价电子对数nB、nC、nD逐渐减少.GP区A键变强的原因在于B、C、D键上的共价电子逐渐向A键转移.

铝-铜二元合金定向凝固的相场模拟

基于KKS模型,采用相场和溶质场耦合的方法,对铝-铜二元合金的定向凝固过程进行了模拟.为了简化计算,采用了温度冻结近似;研究了各向异性、界面厚度、界面能等参数对界面形态和微观偏析的影响.结果表明:在各向同性的情况下,晶体生长为浅胞状枝晶生长;当引入各向异性后,随着各向异性系数的增大,晶体生长由浅胞状枝晶向深胞状枝晶转变;随着界面能和界面厚度的增加,胞晶间的凹坑变浅,晶体生长由深胞状枝晶向浅胞状枝晶转变.

时效处理对离心铸造铝铜合金组织和力学性能的影响

采用立式离心铸造的方法,制备了铝铜合金铸件。通过光学显微镜、显微硬度计和室温拉伸、压缩性能测试,研究了人工时效处理对铝铜合金铸件显微组织和力学性能的影响规律。结果表明:随着时效温度的升高和时效时间的延长,合金试样的抗拉强度、抗拉屈服强度、抗压强度、压缩屈服强度以及显微硬度先升高后降低,在160℃时效5 h时达到最大值,此时的抗压强度达到241 MPa,显微硬度为108 HV,铸件的伸长率却发生相反的变化;力学性能呈现上述规律是由于显微组织发生相应变化引起的。
