The effect of phosphorus on mechanical properties and thermal stability of fine-grained GH761 alloy has been investigated. The results show that, when the content of phosphorus is in the range of 0.0007%-0.040%, there are no significant effects on the tensile properties. Phosphorus strongly affects the stress rupture life. The content of 0.023% P results in the longest life in this experiment. Compared with that of the alloy with 0.0007% P, the life is increased more than 2 times in the alloy with 0.023% P. After ageing at 700°C for 1000 h, the life reduced to some extent. However, phosphorus exhibits the similar effect on the life as before ageing. The tensile properties of the alloy are not influenced by long term ageing obviously. The present results suggested that the optimum content of phosphorus is 0.023%. The phosphorus with this content can optimize the precipitates at the grain boundaries and prevent the excessive growth of the precipitates. The combining mechanical properties of GH761 alloy can be largely improved by phosphorus addition combined with grain refinement.

Effect of phosphorus on the microstructure and high temperature properties of a cast Ni-base superalloy M963 has been investigated. SEM observation and EDS analysis showed that P was mostly enriched in the interdendritic region, and the P-rich phase was formed in the front position of finally solidified eutectics in high P doped alloys. It was found that the P-rich phase, as preferred initiation and propagation site of cracks, could aggravate the fracture process at high temperature in high P doped alloys.Consequently, high P addition would reduce remarkably the ductility and creep life of M963 superalloy at high temperature.

Irradiation-induced impurity segregation to grain boundaries is one of the important radiation effects on materials. For this reason, phosphorus segregation to prior austenite grain boundaries in a P-doped 2.25Cr1Mo steel subjected to neutron irradiation is examined using field emission gun scanning transmission electron microscopy (FEGSTEM) with energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDX). The steel samples are irradiated around 270 and 400℃, respectively. The irradiation dose rate and dose are ~1.05×10-8 dpa/s and ~0.042 dpa respectively for 270℃ irradiation, and 1.7×10-8 dpa/s and 0.13 dpa respectively for 400℃ irradiation. The FEGSTEM results indicate that there is no apparent phosphorus segregation during 270℃ irradiation but there is some during 400℃ irradiation

In the present paper, low carbon steel strips with different phosphorus contents were produced using a twin roll strip casting process. The solidification structure was studied and its features were analyzed in detail. It was found that the strips possessed a fine microstructure compared with the mould cast steels. With increasing phosphorus content more ferrite has been formed with finer grains.

IN718 Ni-Fe-base alloy was prepared to study the effects of phosphorus. The results show that phosphorus improves morphology of grain boundary precipitates. Phosphorus has a remarkable beneficial effect on stress-rupture life and creep resistance. Increasing phosphorus in IN718 to 0.02\% causes an increase of the apparent creep activation energy from 678.6 kJ/mol to 746.1 kJ/mol. It has been proposed that the significant beneficial effect of phosphorus mainly arises from the inhibition of diffusion along grain boundary.

阐述在冷轧汽车钢的生产中,为了提高IF钢强度采用超低碳钢加磷的方法.为了解磷对超低碳钢性能的影响,试制了含磷和不合磷的两种超低碳冷轧钢带.通过对这两种冷轧钢带的力学性能、组织织构的对比分析,得出P使得超低碳钢的强度大幅度增加的同时,保持了良好的变形性,使得钢板在汽车厂加工后具有良好的使用性.
