不锈钢和镍基合金在高温高压醋酸溶液中的腐蚀行为

采用特制高压釜设备,研究304L不锈钢、316L不锈钢、317L不锈钢和镍基合金(Incoloy 800)在高温高压醋酸溶液中的腐蚀,初步探讨了不锈钢和镍基合金在醋酸溶液中的腐蚀机理及Ni和Mo元素对提高不锈钢耐蚀性能的影响。结果表明,温度对不锈钢和镍基合金耐蚀性有显著影响,随着温度的升高,腐蚀速率逐渐增大,当温度升高到一定值,不锈钢的耐蚀性会急剧下降。在低温醋酸溶液中,Ni对于提高不锈钢耐蚀性是有益的;在高温醋酸溶液中,Ni对于提高不锈钢耐蚀性没有显著影响。在低温醋酸溶液中,Mo对于提高不锈钢耐蚀性没有显著影响;在高温醋酸溶液中,Mo对于提高不锈钢耐蚀性是有益的。

316L不锈钢强流脉冲电子束表面改性研究 Part I 表面选择净化及机理

本文详细研究了强流脉冲电子束对316L不锈钢表面改性的过程和机理。结果表明,316L不锈钢中的MnS夹杂物是轰击过程中形成火山坑的核心,其自身或界面过热喷发是火山坑的成因。随着轰击次数的增加,表层中MnS夹杂物随喷发而逐渐减少,实现了材料的表面选择净化。与此同时,表面缺陷在反复轰击过程中得到修复,即火山坑的密度随轰击次数减少,形态也逐渐由心部有孔转变为心部无孔。

Mechanical Properties and Defective Effects of 316LN Stainless Steel by First-Principles Simulations

In current International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) design, the 316LN austenitic stainless steel (316LN SS) is used for first-wall/blanket structures. Thus, it is necessary to study the fundamental mechanical properties and irradiation effect of 316LN SS. A random solid solution model of Fe-Cr-Ni-Mn-Mo-Si alloy is used for describing 316LN SS. Using first-principles approaches, the elastic constants and ideal strength of the alloy were calculated. Such alloy exhibits good ductile behavior according to the theoretical values of Cauchy pressure and ratio of bulk modulus and shear modulus. Within the 256-atom supercell, inclusion of single vacancy defect further enhances the ductility of the alloy, and the existence of interstitial (Fe, H, He) atoms enhances the Young0s modulus.

Precipitation of Epsilon Copper in Ferrite Antibacterial Stainless Steel

The precipitation of epsilon copper at 1023 K ageing in ferrite antibacterial stainless steel was investigated by a combination of electron microscopy and micro-Vickers hardness measurement. The results show that epsilon copper precipitation occurs within 90 s. Complex multilayer structure confirmed as twins and stacking faults on {111}ε-Cu planes was observed in the precipitates. The precipitates grow by the lengthwise enlargement of a set of parallel layers, having [111] ε-Cu and ε-Cu preferred growth orientations. The volume fraction of precipitates f formed within 120 min can be predicted by a modified Avrami equation ( ). Simultaneously, substituent atom clusters with a size of 5–10 nm was found to occur in the solution and cause matrix strain. The precipitate morphology and distribution on the surface of ferrite antibacterial stainless steel are associated with surface crystallographic orientation of the matrix. The precipitates are predominantly located within the ferrite grains of <110> orientation. The precipitates located on {111}α-Fe surface planes have sphere or ellipse shape.Key words: Stainless steel; Copper precipitation; Complex multilayer structure; Electron microscopy; Surface crystallographic orientation

Resistance Spot Weldability of Dissimilar Materials: BH180-AISI304L Steels and BH180-IF7123 Steels

In this study, resistance spot weldability of 180 grade bake hardening steel (BH180), 7123 grade interstitial free steel (IF7123) and 304 grade austenitic stainless steel (AISI304L) with each other was investigated. In the joining process, electrode pressure and weld current were kept constant and six different weld time were chosen. Microstructure, microhardness, tensile-shear properties and fracture types of resistance spot welded joints were examined. In order to characterize the metallurgical structure of the welded joint, the microstructural profile was developed, and the relationship between mechanical properties and microstructure was determined. The change of weld time, nugget diameter, the HAZ (heat affected zone) width and the electrode immersion depth were also investigated. Welded joints were examined by SEM (scanning electron microscopy) images of fracture surface. As a result of the experiment, it was determined that with increasing weld time, tensile shear load bearing capacity (TLBC) increased with weld time up to 25 cycle and two types of tearing  occurred. It was also determined that while the failure occurred from IF side at the BH180+IF7123 joint, it occurred from the BH180 side at the BH180+AISI304L joint.

New Naturally Occurring Product Extract as Corrosion Inhibitor for 316 Stainless Steel in 5% HCl

Medipolymorphol, a new sterol isolated from the whole plant of Medicago polymorpha Roxb was used as corrosion inhibitor for 316 stainless steel in 5% HCl at room temperature. Electrochemical techniques have been found to be reliable in evaluating corrosion characteristics of the system. Several techniques have been used including Tafel, linear polarization, potentiodynamic polarization, and open circuit potential (OCP) studies. The additives simultaneously deaccelerated the anodic process, intensified the cathodic process and provided a stable passive state, giving good inhibition efficiencies to stainless steel electrodes. In addition, adsorption isotherm have been fitted for the inhibitor under investigation.

304不锈钢在微生物介质中的腐蚀行为

利用间歇式方法培养海水中的细菌,用极化曲线和电化学阻抗谱研究304不锈钢在有菌和无菌培养基中的腐蚀行为。研究表明,前者的阳极极化电流密度大于后者,且随着培养时间的延长,电化学阻抗值在无菌培养基中先降低后升高,而在有菌培养基中一直降低。表明海水中的细菌对304不锈钢的腐蚀起到促进作用,诱导了不锈钢点蚀的发生。

哌啶缓蚀作用的原子吸收光谱研究——Ⅰ.304不锈钢、工业纯铁、铬、镍在盐酸中的腐蚀行为及哌啶的缓蚀作用

采用原子吸收光谱(AAS),恒电位下电流~时间关系和极化曲线测试等方法研究了304不锈钢、纯铁、铬和镍四种材料在0.1mol/L HCl中的腐蚀行为及哌啶(PD)的缓蚀作用。结果表明:PD可有效地抑制304不锈钢在盐酸中的腐蚀。PD增强Cr在盐酸中的钝化性能,对铁、镍的腐蚀属阴极型缓蚀剂。AAS测试结果表明,304不锈钢的组分元素Fe、Cr、Ni和Mn在盐酸中分别以+2,+3,+2和+2价离子形式溶解,价态不受缓蚀剂的影响。PD对304不锈钢在盐酸中的腐蚀存在“选择性抑制”效应,能显著减缓Cr和Ni的溶解,改变各元素溶解的比例,导致耐蚀组分在电极表面富集。
